1.  What are the timings for visiting the Jain Sthanak for Puja & Darshan?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

SJRS general visiting timings for Puja and Darshan are stated below.  Do note that the general visiting timings may be affected due to special circumstances or special events in which case you will not have access to the prayer hall<\/strong>. SJRS will inform members by whatsapp broadcast for any announcements that could affect the general visitings hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mornings – Puja & Darshan<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

8.00am to 11.00am (last entry 10:45am) Mon to Fri
<\/i>8.00am to 12.30pm (last entry 12:15pm) Sat, Sun & Public Holidays<\/i><\/p>\n

Evenings – Darshan Only (No Puja)<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

6.00pm to 8.00pm (last entry 7:45pm) Mon to Sat
<\/i>(Closed on Sunday & Public Holidays)<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Please visit sufficiently early before closing time stated above as we need to ensure security and timely closing of the Sthanak. Last entry will be 15 mins before closing time and all devotees have to vacate the premises by closing time.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Any Daily Puja of the Bhagwan Mahavir Swami Murti (51\u201d), will be guided by the following :-<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Puja clothes<\/span> must be worn when doing puja or touching the Murti.<\/li>\n
  2. Kesar, Milk, Perfume, Silver Foil, or Gold Foil<\/span> are not allowed<\/strong> to be applied to the Murti at any time. Only Sandalwood paste or powder (chandan<\/span>) can be used.<\/li>\n
  3. Puja must only be done on the 9 limbs of the Idol (Nav Angi).<\/li>\n
  4. Rice<\/span> grains<\/span> must not be sprinkled at the idol.<\/li>\n
  5. If a Diva or Agarbathi<\/span> has already been lighted, a second one should not be lighted.<\/li>\n
  6. Any items taken for use in Puja or Prayers<\/span> must be cleaned and returned<\/span> to the proper place after the puja. All other offerings must be cleared after the puja by the devotee himself\/herself.<\/span> Do not expect the caretaker to clear these items on your behalf.  Any items left behind will be removed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please observe the Darshan\/Puja rules strictly as advised above and as displayed at the Sthanak as well. <\/strong><\/p>\n
